I am a certified solution-focused hypnotherapist who uses the power of suggestion and visualization to help clients tap into their subconscious minds and make positive changes from within. Using a combination of relaxation techniques and guided imagery, clients overcome fears, reduce stress, and increase self-confidence.

Specialising in young adults and teenagers I am well equipped to deal with new and modern stresses such as social media anxiety, exam stress, gaming, nicotine addiction and many more. I am fully insured with an enhanced DBS check registering me as safe to work with vulnerable adults and children.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Solution-focused hypnotherapy is a type of therapy that combines the principles of solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) with hypnosis. This approach focuses on identifying solutions and creating positive change, rather than dwelling on problems and the past.

During a session, the therapist will help the client set achievable goals and visualize themselves achieving those goals. They will also use hypnosis to help the client access their subconscious mind and create positive associations with their desired outcomes.

In solution-focused hypnotherapy, there is no need to discuss past experiences or use hypnosis to induce regressions. It’s a non-invasive process. Our focus is on how your life would improve if you were better equipped to handle the issue you're currently experiencing or if the issue didn't exist at all. One of the key benefits of solution-focused hypnotherapy is its effectiveness in helping clients achieve their goals in a relatively short amount of time. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, clients can feel empowered and motivated to make positive changes in their lives.

More about me!

 

Hi, I’m Hope, I'm 25 years old and from Bath, now living in Chippenham with my partner Joe and my very spoiled hamster 'Mr Trustworthy'.

I started my hypnotherapy journey whilst completing my Fine Arts Degree at University, attending a few sessions to remedy my phobia of public speaking. The sessions with Melanie Cook were so uplifting and transformative that after university I began training.

I qualified in June 2023 alongside a lovely group of people! Since completing the course, I have certificates in CPD courses such as ‘Working with Children’, ‘Fertility’ and ‘The Miracle Question’.

I love to draw, read and go out dancing with my friends (if I can be back in bed by midnight)! I look forward to getting to know you too.
